What are Nuclear-Purpose Items?
- Nuclear materials, equipment, software, and technologies that are subject to nuclear import and export controls as they can be used for the manufacturing, development, use, or storage of nuclear weapons.

- SGT professional determination application to KOSTI
- NT professional determination application to KINAC

Valid Period of Professional Determination Results
- 2 years from the determination date
Export approval : Process begins once the technology is professionally determined to be a NT
- Time required for approval : up to 15 days after the approval application form is received
- Valid period : 1 year from the export approval date (if only a technology is being exported, valid during the period of the technology export agreement
